The Book is a publicistic collection of the experience of 17 well-known Bulgarian Journalists. They are members of the Bulgarian Association of Travel Journalists and Writers (ABUJET).
The book makes pleasant reading because viewpoints of people seized with an adventure spirit are gathered in it.
Readings re-creates deep colours of Sahara, Atlas mountains and the Mediterranean. They render the unique flavour of Moroccan dishes and the diversity of local handicrafts.

Short history
At the 2006 FIJET Congress in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, for the first time we presented the idea about the award as well as the sculpture, made by Croatian sculptor Lujo Lozica from the island of Korcula. That is an annual award for the best travel stories about host country of the latest congress. We have been considering the idea for a longer period and then we decided to establish an award called Marco Polo – A Famous Journalist and to promote our country as Croatia – the homeland of Marco Polo.
