THREE MAJOR TOURISM FESTIVALS HELD IN SOLIN, INTERSTAS 26TH EDITION FIJET WINNERS OF THE 26TH EDITION OF INTERNATIONAL TOURISM AND MULTIMEDIA FESTIVALS 2019
The historic and charming city of Solin on Croatia’s Adriatic Coast, build on the location of ancient city of Salona, and the company "FISCALIS" specialized in cultural and tourism marketing, with a tradition of over 40 years hosted the 26th INTERSTAS, the 22nd ITF’CRO-International Tourism Film Festival and the 17th CEA-CRO 2019, all three international events, already traditional, internationally affirmed multimedia festivals with a world-renowned reputation, as unique manifestations of this kind in Croatia.
The main motive is the encouragement of presenting local, regional, national destinations and regions, with motivation for traveling, visiting and getting to know different areas around the world. This event entirely contributes to development of tourism, cultural and historical heritage, quality and quantity of tourism offer, development of congressional, cultural, health, sports and other selective forms of tourism.
The accent is on the presentation of the Laureates – the winners of international tourism, film festivals, landscape awards. The Laureates – the winners of these prestigious international awards in all categories – are distinguished individuals and organizations from Croatia and the world. Awards are given to them; “For their excellence in and for tourism, contributing to the development of tourism through culture, tourism film, tourism and travel journalism, ecology, sport, and contributing to improving the quality of life, sustainable development,environmental protection and production of tourist films.
The manifestation council and the FEST Main Board, based on the nominations received from three different categories, and the justification of the Committee of Travel Journalists and Writers, and the International Jury of Tourist Film Festival, for each individual, organization, film, decide on the Laureates, and at the closing ceremony of the event awarded them these prestigious international awards. Fijet Croatia, leaded by Tina Cubrilo who is the member of the Council nominated Fijet members to join them in the Club of Laureates 2019.
Mr. TIJANI HADDAD, the President of Fijet, was appointed as a honorary President od this International Festival by the Manifestation Council.
