Egypt Economic Development Conference

The  Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC), hosted by his Excellency President  Abdel Fattah El Sisi, will be held in Sharm el-Sheikh on 13-15th March 2015.

Bringing together leading international figures from the worlds of business, finance and politics, the Conference will demonstrate to a new generation of investors why they can place their confidence in Egypt, which is now both politically stable and ready to accelerate its economic growth.

Showcasing the progress of Egypt’s ambitious, ongoing economic reform programme, the EEDC will foster new conversations, ideas and opportunities about the future of Egyptian prosperity. Through working with partners, the Conference will create the growth that will support a new era of human development in Egypt, foster regional stability and deliver returns for investors.

The Conference will provide the opportunity to witness firsthand the changes that the country has made over the past year to fundamentally reform the economy and unleash its productive capacity; to explain the details of the economic transformations in the country, and the  specific opportunities to invest in the future of Egypt.

At the Conference, key Egyptian policymakers will layout the medium-term economic revival program for Egypt, including existing reforms and plans for the next four to five years, as well as explain the strategy for several industrial sectors, including energy and mining, housing and utilities, agriculture, tourism, trade and industry, transport and logistics and information technology. The EEDC will also showcase significant investment opportunities, many for the first time, in both the public and the private sectors, providing a first chance to invest in partnership with some of the world’s premier investors.

The EEDC will afford valuable group and one-on-one sessions with Egypt’s political and economic  leadership and encourage the formation  of lasting relationships between public and private sector decision makers.
