If someone will ask Russians about their favorite summer destination many of them will answer “Greece, of course!”. But 2019 summer statistic says the different. According to Heraklion airport information the number of tourists’ arrivals is 20% lower than during the same period in 2018. And that is evident if we check the Russian TO behavior on the destination  ANEX Tour has planned less charters to Crete from Moscow from five to three weekly, having the same two flights from Moscow to Rhodes. But TO has increased the number of packs on the regular flights base.  Mouzenidis Travel cancelled Moscow –Chania charter in the very beginning of the season. On July, 18, 2019 Russian president Vladimir Putin announced that foreign citizens will get the opportunity to enter Saint-Petersburg and Leningrad region by means of E-visas. Now the same right is used in the Far East and Kaliningrad regions.  This process started in Russia on September, 3, 2016 when the president said about E-visas for Vladivostok for the first time. And the first E-visa was issued on August, 10, 2017 for the citizen of Saudi Arabia. There were 85 thousand E-visas issued till June 2019 for the free port of Vladivostok. 65 thousand of them were issued for the Chinese citizens.   On February, 27 in 2017 at "Sochi-2017" investment forum Anton Alkhanov said about the plans for E-visas for Kaliningrad too. Practice of issuing them started on July,1, 2019. The first e-visa was issued for the Polish citizen. Now they are able for the 53 European countries...

Last year, more than 122,000 Russian tourists visited Croatia, which is three percent more than were recorded in the previous year, but at the same time, there was a drop in overnight stays made by Russians, by two percent.  “Russian companies are ready to invest as much as $50 billion in Croatia’s,” the Russian ambassador to Croatia has said.  “Nobody has the power to invest as much into Croatia as Russia has, neither the European Union nor the United States of America. There are preconditions that Croatia must meet,” the Ambassador Anvar Azimov said on Monday during the Zagreb-Moscow economic forum.  At the forum, which was held during the “Moscow Days in Zagreb”, Azimov said that Russia was ready to invest several billion Euros into Croatia, but Croatia must show interest and create the proper preconditions for these...
