Official Visit to Morocco Initiates Preparations for UNWTO General Assembly 06 february 2021

The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and the Kingdom of Morocco met to advance the organization of the 24th UNWTO General Assembly in October 2021, the first global high-level United Nations event to be held since the beginning of the pandemic. Led by the Secretary-General, Zurab Pololikashvili, a delegation from UNWTO has concluded an official visit to Morocco to discuss the programme, calendar and facilities to be prepared for this statutory meeting that will focus on Education and Youth, Rural Development and Digital Innovation. The Parliament elected on Wednesday Kiril Vulchev as the Bulgarian News Agency's (BTA) Director  General for a five year term.During his hearing by the Parliamentary Culture and Media Committee last week, Vulchev vowed to insist on making access to  BTA's news content free for everyone. That is why he believes BTA must keep providing quick and accurate information. His  plans are to turn the news agency into a source of news from the  whole Balkans for the world, which would require BTA to open correspondent offices in all neighbouring countries. The first  one is planned for Skopje. Vulchev's election to the post comes after longtime BTA Director  General Maxim Minchev passed away last November.
