Tsanka Donkova

Tsanka Donkova is a journalist with over ten years of experience, and her writing style combines curiosity, a sense of humanity, and an ability to find the unusual in the ordinary.

Born in Teteven and raised amid the beauty of Ribaritsa, she has a sensitivity to detail and an ability to notice the invisible.

She graduated from the Foreign language high school "Exarch Joseph I" in Lovech, and later earned a bachelor's and master's degree in Mass Communications from the New Bulgarian University, where she was included in the catalog of the best students.

The topics that interest her are wide-ranging—from politics and healthcare, through history, culture, and art, to business and everything interesting related to Asian countries. This part of the world is particularly close to her heart—she is the author of numerous articles presenting the Asian way of life beyond the clichés.

Since 2016, she has been part of the team at IA BLITZ and Zdrave.to, where she is now deputy editor-in-chief.

For her, traveling is not just moving from point A to point B. Each destination has its own story – about the landscapes and traditions, but also about the economy, business opportunities, and challenges that shape the lives of the local people. Travel is a dialogue and sharing – a way to look behind the tourist facade and feel the true soul of a place.

In her free time, he continues to seek new horizons by traveling around Bulgaria and the world and reading about distant lands, inspired by the achievements of the people who inhabit them.
